How many people, tents and cars do you allow at a site?
4 to 5 people, 2 to 3 small tents, and one car. Each site has a fire pit, grill and picnic table.
What are your rules about pets in the campground?
Pets are allowed in Air conditioned motor homes only. Not in hotel or tent sites. Springdale has a locally owned pet boarding facility: the Doggy Dude Ranch, phone number 435-772-3105.
How far are you from Zion National Park?
Park Entrance and visitor center are located 1/2 mile from our facility.
Is the Shuttle System available from the campground?
The Zion Canyon free shuttle runs from 5:35 AM until 11:00 PM daily between April 1st and October 31st. Buses run just about every 10 minutes. From our front door, there is a shuttle stop 150 yards away for the "Town Shuttle". The Town Shuttle terminates at the National Park entrance, where you can pick up the "Park Shuttle" to visit the upper canyon.
Do you have group rates?
Group rates are available for tent camping. Rates are for non profit organizations such as Universities, schools, etc. Groups must arrive together and leave together in order to qualify for group grates. Group camping fees are paid by one person.
Is internet available?
Wifi is available in the campground to RV'ers and Tenters at a nominal fee. Hotel rooms have hard wired DSL and this is available at no cost.
What are typical daytime temperatures?
Can we request riverside sites?
River sites are never guaranteed. You are always welcome to request it. Most people who want the river will make their reservations early in the season as early as January. There is no sewer available on the river just water, electric and cable TV.
What recreation is available in Springdale?
Hiking the Zion Narrows and Tubing the Virgin River are two wonderful activities for everyone who visits Zion. Both are available directly across the street from our facility at The Zion Adventure Company. Phone: 435-772-1001. URL: www.zionadventures.com Open year round.

- June through Sept. Daytime temps range between 90 and 114. Nightime temps are comfortable between 62 and 70.
- Sept and October daily highs are typically 70 to 80 night time temps range from 50 to 60.
- Winter months: DAily highs can range from freezing to high 50's or 60's. Night are typically around freezing. We get almost no snowfall on the canyon floor but have snow on the peaks.

We have been camping twice a year at the Zion Canyon Campground for
10 years. The grounds and facilities are beautiful, comfortable,
and immaculate. The hospitality of the Ferbers and their staff
is superb. No words can adequately convey the beauty and magnificence
of Zion Canyon and the surrounding area. If you only camp
or RV once a year, this has to be the top of your short list!!
